Dr. Christopher C Hock

Dr. Hock and Staff are very helpful and have a lot of expertise. This is the best orthodontist I have been too. I have been to some not-so-hot. Thank you, Dr. Hock and everybody!

I had a couple of extractions performed by Dr. Hock. His technique is absolutely brutal resulting in extensive pre-extraction pain and trauma. His use of a topical anesthetic prior to injection of deeper anesthesia is ineffective as he either did not wait for this to take effect or the numbing medication was of poor quality. The nerve injections were exceedingly painful, the extractions themselves were brutally performed resulting in excessive pain and trauma. My advice, if you choose to see Dr. Hock, is to request deep sedation as this guy's manner is unprofessional, uncaring, and brutal. Better to be asleep rather than subject yourself to conscious contact with this substandard dentist. I should know as I worked closely with a dentist while with the Public Health Service. In comparison, Dr. Hock appears genuinely uncaring.

Dr. Hock was fantastic. For a person terrified of dentists, this one was great for me. I would totally recommend him if you need surgery of any kind. I had concern the day after my surgery and he was very helpful with follow-up as well.
