Dr. Christopher Tinfah Huang, MD

Very professional. Always makes time to answer questions even though the office is so busy.

No follow up. Not a good communicator of important information, and does not listen. Tries to get you to take all kinds of tests you do not need, and does not respect the decisions that you make about your own body.

Very unprofessional. Fist pumps and winks are not want any woman wants when she is on a table with a sheet barely covering her. Dr Huang speaks way too fast, rushes patients, and has zero empathy for them. Is it such a vulnerable experience to go through IVF, and it is so sad that he treats people so poorly. He should be suspended and retrained in humanity. It has been a really horrible experience. I wish I saw more reviews before I went to him.

I understand that this office is really busy but sometimes I feel that I am not getting the personal attention that I need. This is a very emotional experience for me and I would like to be treated more like a person rather than an object. Dr. Huang can be really nice & he tries to make jokes to break the ice. Other times, he talks too fast and seems to be rushing to go to his next patient. I prefer seeing Dr. Arnett, his partner, who takes more time and seems more patient. I would suggest that this office try to be more understanding and compassionate towards us because infertility can be very stressful. The staff has been mostly friendly & professional but in the 6 months that I have been there, I have seen a lot of turnover. Nonetheless, I am giving this office a chance because I am sure that they are very good at what they do.

I really appreciate how honest and direct Dr. Huang was with me. We quickly had a plan in place and started my treatment. His staff was caring and knowledgeable. After see Dr. Huang for 3 months, I am pregnant and could not be happier.

Will never go back!

Dr. seems a bit jaded, and can be condescending. Don't like his bedside manner at all, I always hope to get his partner Dr. Arnett who is much friendlier. I am doing IUI, but will change MDs for IVF because I'm not comfortable with him.

Dr Huang and his staff are excellent at what they do. I have been a patient of his for 2 years and am currently going thru my 2nd cycle of IVF. It has been a very intense process but Dr Huang and his staff have been very helpful and caring. I went to see several RE's before choosing Dr Huang and I'm glad I did. He is aggresively trying to help me conceive and I appreciate that. I appreciate Dr. Huang's straight forwardness as well. In other words, he can be rather blunt so if you don't like that sort of thing, he may not be the right doctor for you. Otherwise, I have nothing but good things to say about Dr Huang and his amazing staff.

Worst "doctor" and staff in Honolulu. If you want to get pregnant, don't go to him. If you want someone to swindle your money, he's your guy.

Although Dr. Huang was the only physician on Oahu who was able to help me get pregnant with IVF ( I miscarried at 6 weeks and prior to that had multiple other IVF attempts), because of his bedside manner, I refused to go back to him. Going through infertility treatments is a very difficult process (emotionally, psychologically, financially), and going to his clinic didn't help make it any easier. I did consider if my comments would be different if my pregnancy resulted in a live birth, but after much thought, the bottom line is that his bedside manner was poor and his office staff lacked professionalism.
