Dr. Christopher Eric Hughes, MD

If There ever was an angel in the form of a doctor it would be Dr. Christopher Hughes. He is as beautiful on the inside as he is on the outside which is GORGEOUS, LOL. A doctor that handsome you’d think would be stuck up or cocky, arrogant and judgmental but he is so humble. I am a bit of a hypochondriac as my chart states and for that I do not feel I’m provided the care I am entitled to and deserve ( especially for the amount of money they make off of me) I have severe anxiety but I also have real health issues. I can’t always tell which is the issue whether it’s my anxiety triggering phantom pain and symptoms or legit issues so I go to the hospital and usually see the doctor for about 2 minutes and without feeling around or even looking , they seem to have the answer which is nothing and send me on my way. After a round of trips to go and from the hospital I eventually land myself into the care of Dr, Hughes and I feel immediately at ease knowing he isn’t making assumptions due to… one of many diagnosis listed on my chart which is that “hypochondriac” he engages in every patient completely and will ask a number of questions relating to the issues that brought me in. Then he will feel around , ask more questions, and then order either one test or a list of tests including maybe a CT, MRI, Uktrasound, EKG, pap, whatever he needs to thoroughly examine any issues or surrounding issues until he is confident he has done and seen Everything that could give him answers. There are times it’s been legit issues but many more times it has been some odd phantom issues that have caused me severe pain. When those phantom issues happen to be the problem he doesn’t at all make me feel like a waste of time but case. He tells me it was very smart of me to come in because it could’ve been serious and to be relieved there was nothing wrong. He then tells me if it continues to make sure I come back in and gives me a bunch of suggestions on what I can do to help relieve myself of the symptoms and/or pain that warranted my trip to the hospital. He is the most compassionate and patient, kindest, caring Man. Other then one other doctor at our hospital , he is definitely in the field of work he is in due to his passion for people where I feel the rest are in it for the money and are very poor at hiding it. I have a lot of resentment toward our doctors there due to lack of care, negligence, judgement and error that have caused people I have loved to pass away. I had to take my daughter when she was 10 months old to two different pediatricians and 5 times to the ER because I as a mother knew she wasn’t ok and even those who did x rays and tests sent us home. I had to beg And fight with the doctor on the fifth visit to pay attention as she too made her diagnosis and was trying to have me sign release papers . Dr Hughes walked by and for some reason peaked in to talk to the doctor and heard her breathing and said he wanted to see her X rays and after one quick look he said she needs to be admitted immediately as she is suffering with a very severe case of pneumonia. After all those doctors failed to properly care for her and send me home When I knew something was wrong with her week long 104 degree temperature and her horrible raspy breathing. I’m so grateful for him. I don’t write reviews ever about a doctor. This is the first but he deserves all the gold stars and great reviews that this page would allow because he is amazing.
