Christopher V. Hughes, D.M.D., Ph.D.
Pediatric Dentist
Doctor Hughes is a specialist in
pediatric dentistry.  He
received his BA degree from
Colby College, his D.M.D. degree
from the University of
Pennsylvania School of Dental
Medicine, his Certificate of
Pediatric Dentistry from Rainbow
Babies and Children Hospital,
Case Western Reserve University
and his Ph.D. in Microbiology
from Georgetown University.  He
is currently Associate Professor
and Chair of the Department of
Pediatric Dentistry at the Henry
M. Goldman School of Dental
Medicine, Boston University
Medical Center.  He is also on
staff at Boston Medical Center
and Franciscan Children
Hospital. Dr. Hughes has
lectured extensively and has
authored numerous scientific
publications, including chapters
in three textbooks. He was the
recipient of the American
Academy of Pediatric Dentistry
Educational Foundation Research
Award.  He is a member of the
American Dental Association and
the American Academy of
Pediatric Dentistry.  He is a
