Dr. Christopher J. Hupfeld, MD

I have seen Dr. Hupfeld in his Encinitas office twice. He was caring and informative. He seemed concerned and spent more time with me than I had really expected. He took time to answer any questions I had. He was clear and concise in his language. His office staff was also cordial and helpful.

Terrible Doctor. Went to him with a serious Illness. had me waiting for over month to hear back. Never ordered any test. Please do not go to this doctor. He is terrible, will not listen or hear what your symptoms are.

The bottom line...... I brought my daughter to Dr. Hupfeld. She was diagnosed with Cushings do to a huge error on the part of our family internist. The internist overdosed her with cortisol injections to her neck area. The Cushings was the result. She was in horrible shape physically as emotionally. Dr. Hupfeld has been so wonderful, informative, kind to her. He responds very quickly to an email if you had a question for him. His office staff are outstanding. By far one of the best experiences we have had!

I've seen Dr. Hupfeld multiple times when he was at the Vista office and once in the Encinitas location. At each of those times he's spent time to explain things to me and put my mind at ease by answering my questions.I also remember him actually being the one to call me directly to explain lab results and changing my dosage. It's a comfort to know that a doctor can take time to do this. It means a lot. I wish he was closer to Temecula. ;)
