hris Hussin graduated from the Johns Hopkins University in 1990 and from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 1996. He came to the greater Philadelphia area in 1996 to complete a prestigious residency in hospital-based dental medicine at the Philadelphia Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He opened Innovative Dentistry of Valley Forge in 1997.Â
Dr. Hussin understands the important role that continuing education plays in keeping him up to date on the latest dental techniques and developments. Over the past few years he has taken almost 1,000 hours of courses, many at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. Topics have included aesthetic and smile design, advanced veneers (“extreme makeoversâ€), and occlusal training in neuromuscular dentistry (for treatment of TMJ patients).
Dr. Hussin is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Chester/Delaware County Dental Society. …He is an active lecturer at the Valley Forge Dental Forum, a study club for advanced dental treatment planning.
Dr. Hussin lives in the area with his wife Embry, his children Elizabeth and Jack, and dog, Charlie.
