Dr. Christopher Worth Huston, MD

My husband and I owned a business prior to retiring, and I have to say, if we had treated our customers the way Dr C Houston treated me, we'd never have got off the ground. I was referred to him because my insurance company requires a specialist to get an MRI. Toca was chosen by my primary Dr. and unfortunately you get who they give you. He doesn't care to listen, so if you want someone who is compassionate, don't go to him. When I attempted to speak, he would shut me down, by saying either, "you've told me that already (which I hadn't)", or "I'm the expert." He seemed to be in an awful big rush to get me out of there. I have had a couple of bad neck injuries over my lifetime, and being over 60 now the discs are deteriorating somewhat, causing what my chiropractor says is a pinched nerve. I have been in pain for a couple of months and was really looking forward to finding out if indeed I have a pinched nerve, which would show on an MRI. Guess I won't be finding out anytime soon. He… suggested I get physical therapy. Believe me, I've been doing that already, own my own, but did he care...NO. I left feeling like I should've told him that he didn't know me well enough to be speaking to me the way he did....disrespecting me. The staff are very nice, but if you want a Dr who cares, my suggestion...don't go to Dr C Houston.

Dr. Huston was great. He actually spent time with us. He did not seem to have something better to do. He showed and explained the X-rays. He pointed out issues to be aware of and gave us a game plan on how to deal with them.

Dr. Huston is fantastic. He is thorough, sincere, knowledgeable, and I feel confident in his care.

Check your facebook page, the appointment was terrible. I will never step foot in this place again. The doctor was rude and arrogant. Good luck with the practice, you're going to need it if this is a representation of how your treat patients.

If you want to have an arrogant, impatient, and poor history reporter, than by all means go to Dr. Huston! Not only did he state that my MRI from another facility was read wrong, he stated in my medical report that he discussed an Rx for pain medication , which we never discussed nor did he order an Rx for this to my pharmacy. He stated we discussed weight gain program based on my BMI numbers with my primary doctor, which we never discussed and how did that even relate to my lower back/sciatica pain I have been living with for 2 months? If he would have really discussed that, than he would have learned that I have been slender for well over 40 years. I will give him credit finding the location of where and why I am having this pain which made sense as he was describing it while we looked at the MRI. He took x-rays since I only brought the report from the E.R and not the pics, but, in his report he didn't go into detail about the findings from this. He suggested injections, and… physical therapy. His surgery schedule left a message and when I called back went to her voice mail, I called again later, and then the next day. No one has called back. I know believe it was "divine intervention" and set off some more "red flags". I certainly do not want someone with a needle injecting in my nerve root near my spine who has demonstrated impatience, and lack of what seems to being caring and seemed bothered with any questions I asked.
