Dr. Christopher Jon Huyck, MD

Not sure why anyone would write a negative review. My visit was excellent. Friendly professional no waiting and the doctor took a lot of time to listen to my concerns. I had check up blood work and X-rays in the same day. During Covid no less when doctors offices are very busy. Highly recommend.

Horrible, incompetent, rude, the Dr will only see a patient once then they must go to his Nurse..Dr Hyuck will NEVER see a patient twice

I went for a number of years. At first it was a caring helpful place, then it became money money money. Always had a PA. Saw the owner Hyuck 2 times in 4 years. Then I was blessed with his female NP who helped me alot. He would undo what she had as a plan for me. Her husband worked there as well. Both were a blessing. They left which I was floored! Also the male Pa walked out as well. After that the place went way down hill. But I must include that his receptionist were always helpful and kind.

Dr. Huyck is an excellent Doctor. He truly cares about his patients. Dr. Huyck takes the time to listen to what the patient has to say. He is always calm and in a good mood. Dr. Huyck then explains in detail (in layman terms) what course of treatments are available. The patient has the right to choose one of the treatments the Dr. feels will work best for them. He does not force the patient to have only one course of treatment that works. In the next follow up appointment, the treatment is evaluated. If it is working, great. If not, Dr. Huyck will change to another treatment. His front desk personal is fabulous. They are friendly and helpful. Most of his nurses are good. I have been a patient over ten years and would not go to another Arthritis Dr. I am a Registered Nurse, so I know what I am talking about. A. D. I.

Loosing staff and loosing positive reputation.

I have been going there several years and they care so much! Dr. Huyck is so personable and works hard to diagnose and treat his patients! Just love the practice.

After 2 years of seeing many specialists for chronic hand pain, I went to see Dr Huyck, he diagnosed and found a treatment for me within 3 weeks; I have been pain free for over a year now, so thankful. His staff is awesome and is so kind to e patients...

Dr. Huyck appears to be a good rheumatologist but he has a xenophobic and Islamophobe X-ray tech named Ken, who will ruin your experience here. Complaints are in his file but Dr. Huyck seems to ignore this problem even though Ken is clearly losing Dr. Huyck quite a few patients.

I have been a patient of Dr. Huyck for many years. I recommend him to friends and family. I love the staff. I live in Schenectady but travel to Troy because Iâ??m so satisfied.

Am now in FL, but switched to Dr. Huyck from previous R/A doc - one simply had to look around the office to see patients wearing sneakers,without wheel chairs, walkers and canes to know he gets to the bottom of the problem. Wouldn't have traded him for all the tea in China when we lived up North. Found his counterpart here in Venice area - and it took some digging to find this Doctor as well. Talk to patients in the waiting room, especially if you're a new patient - that's the barometer I use as well.
