Dr. Hyer preformed a surgical procedure on my foot . The surgery was a success! I’m training for my next Ironman.

I was referred to Dr Hyer by a friend and have been very pleased. He always listens to your concerns and never makes you feel anything you ask is not important. As they say “Your concerns are his concerns”. My husband was with me and when we left he said I really like that doctor because he seems to really care and answers all your questions. Would highly recommend Dr Hyer and the wonderful staff!

First time meeting him and the other staff, and it was great! I was a very welcoming experience and environment. He was very transparent with me and my partner, and explained everything that he saw in the MRI and Xrays. He also informed me with what he’d do in my upcoming surgery. Overall I’m very happy and relieved to have been referred to an amazing doctor. We drove and hour and a half to see them and it was very much worth it!

Dr. Hyer took time to explain the entire operation to me and my PostOp steps forward. He is quite personal, but superbly, professional. I’m glad I made the 3-hour drive from Kentucky for surgery. He surrounds himself with a team of excellence, from his medical assistant, Jaleen, who placed my cast, to his nurse, Kimberly, who checked on me after surgery.

Dr. Hyer helped get rid of my heel pain after many years of constant discomfort. I feel confident in his treatment and can tell he is very knowledgeable about his field. I appreciate that Dr. Hyer spent the time to explain things to me very clearly and answer all my questions.

We had a first operation, post recovery wrap up discussion about the next step after my left foot sub-taler fusion. Ahead lies another one on my right foot, two ankle prosthetics, and (by another doctor, of course) two knee replacements! I had a lot of questions which led to him recommending the left knee replacement being the most logical next step. I was extremely pleased at how the discussion flowed and how easy-going his responses were. Dr. Hyer is unmatched in his personable and understandable patient interactions. I left with a clear vision of the path forward and what had seemed a daunting journey at first I now left feeling excited about the future. He has great patience and inspires confidence.
