Dr. Christopher K. John, MD

I recently had an appointment with Dr. Christopher John, and despite going in with an open mind, I left feeling extremely disappointed. During my visit, I encountered behavior from Dr. John that I found both rude and condescending. When I tried to explain that my pain involved my entire body, rather than a specific part, Dr. John appeared disinterested. His response to my attempt to communicate my medical history was particularly upsetting. He said, in a humiliating and condescending manner, 'This is not the TV show House.' This comment and his overall demeanor made the experience one of the most uncomfortable medical visits I've had.While I understand that physicians like Dr. John are highly specialized, I believe that patient care should also include respectful and empathetic communication. An improvement in this area would greatly enhance the patient experience. This visit affirmed the concerns raised in other negative reviews I had read, and I feel it's important for potential… patients to be aware of this aspect of Dr. John's practice.

After reading the reviews, I was unsure about seeing Dr. John. I only saw him in the office, but found him to be kind, thorough and knowledgeable. I was pleased with my experience so far.

I have a very close friend of the family of more than 20 years. He went to this surgeon and is now suffering from the mistakes of the surgeon. We have watched him suffer daily through the pain and agony. Considering it will not allow you to give zero stars I suppose I have to give 1.

dr. john has tried to lie to me twice about an unnecessary procedure that he performed on me. the procedure was never discussed beforehand, and he did not mention it until a follow-up after my surgery. if you are smart, you will find another surgeon.
