Dr. Christopher David Kreulen, MD

Dr. Kreulen is an amazing foot/ankle surgeon! He has performed surgeries on both my feet for multiple neuromas and for a hammer toe. He is knowledgeable, listens well and will do everything in his power to return a patient to their active lifestyle. He aggressively treated my injuries and, in return, I have been able to return fully to trail running and other physical activities. I am eternally grateful for his excellent care and expertise!

Dr Kruelen correctly determined my previous surgery, with a different doctor, had failed. He performed surgery on my foot to fuse and repair the bunion. I personally put my faith and trust in him. I have not been disappointed.

I went to see Dr. Kreulen for a sports injury (knee grinding/popping,swelling, pain). He told me I needed to build up the muscle around my knee by lifting weights and that I needed to accept that I was no longer the athlete that I use to be. I got a second opinion from Dr. Mamone in Roseville, who found a torn lateral meniscus and significant chodromalacia to my articular cartilage. It has been 2 weeks post op and I have no more popping or grinding and my knee is heeling very well. I would also like to add that this injury caused me to lose a lot of quad muscle because I was not physically able to do exercises to build it up. Duh. Dr. Kreulen suggested I do exercises that are really bad for the type of injury I had (leg extension, squats, leg press, lunges). I am very glad that I listened to my intuition and found another doctor who was more knowledgeable.
