Dr. Christopher James Krpan, DO

Cannot seem to get my prescription taken care of. Doctor is fabulous, staff could use some work.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Krpan. After performing a simple procedure at the Sonora Surgery Center my heart rate was erratic. Dr. Krpan took IMEDIATE ACTION and had me ambulanced to SRMC. He then came in the next day, on his day off, to see how I was doing. Very kind, compassionate and competent.

I like Dr.Chris so much I'm having him do my hand surgery's. He did a fantastic job on my shoulder. I highly recommend him.

Recomended right knee replace which was bad. But I still had severe pain in both knees and left hip which he dianosed as artritis. He recomended left knee to be relaced at some time in the future because of artritis and injected steriods in my left hip twice noting that this was most likley artritis. After further evaluaton by other Doctors it was noted that I had no blood flow in my hip and that the femur bone is dead and that at the minimum the hip is gone and must be replaced or possible amputation of the left leg. He required X-rays every visit of the areas causeing pain and a minimum of two x-rays of the left. This is an Orthopedic Surgeon and should have the knowledge of the bone sturcture of and possible causes of pain in areas of his specialty. He also made the comment that he would not replace the new knee if it went bad or had a problem.Since surgery he charged me for all follow-up visits and showed no concern that the new knee kept freezing up and causeing me to fall… including damaging my left knee and hip pain becoming more severe on a weely visit.. also he made no mention after surgery to have my blood checked because of the self injected blood clot thinner.I would highly not recomend Dr. Christopher Krpan for any orthopedic surgery, by charging for follow-up visits for his surgery it not only shows he is in the business for the money but also is one f the causes of increased costs in the Medical industry.
