Be careful choosing a Doctor based on "Most Compassionate Doctor" etc. They are voted by employees and based on popularity of Doctor with employees. Yes, employees are encouraged to vote several times a day and rewarded for doing so. Doctor gets bonus and special recognition and a bunch of perks for getting the most votes. It's so fake. I've seen way more compassionate Docs than Dr. Laufer, that deserve this recognition.

Dr. Laufer has changed immensely in the last eight years that we have went to him. We are changing peds because he has lost his way in medicine. I think he is going through a midlife crisis....seriously. Oh and he only works three days a week...wow!

Doctor Laufer (who we had been goi g to for a few years) actually came out of a patient's room and said to me "That family in there has a kid on a ventilator and it's always a circus when their here"...I was speechless...becuase my own child is on a ventilator and has special needs. It eas in that moment, that I wondered what he says about my own child. We went to a completely different practice after that.
