I recently moved away from New Orleans and unfortunately from Dr Lege. I just wanted to say that I have never had a better doctor. Dr Lege is a true professional and an expert in his field. He is always so kind, calm and reassuring. I have been his patients for a few years now and he has come to my bedside when I was in patient. He is truly loved by his patient. I could never thank him enough

No one better! I am 72 years old and a type two diabetic first diagnosed in late 2004. My physician retired in late 2005 and Dr. Lege took over his practice and has been taking care of me ever since. Above all he is a superb diagnostician well respected by his peers (witness the awards he has and continues to receive) and a genuine human being who does not rush. He takes the time to educate his patients about whatever he finds in a warm and reassuring way building and instilling confidence. He is the consummate physician/healer!

Dr. Lege is an accomplished physician who's medical examinations are conducted in a very professional and caring manner. He puts his patients at ease with his calm demeanor and he is both a good listener and a good communicator. He answers all questions and he wants to make sure you understand any diagnosis and its implications before leaving the room. He never makes you feel rushed or hurried. I am so thankful that I found Dr. Lege, and that I am one of his patients.

I have been to Dr. Lege's office several times, the front desk staff is very professional. He has been taking care of my brother for several years, with dignity and respect. When he enter the room he speak to him and not me, he wants to know everything that has happen since his last visit. He's certainly a great Dr. that cares for his patients.

I wish I looked as good as he does at his age. He's very fit and will do his very best to give you the expert attention you deserve. You WILL NOT be disappointed by this doctor. He's the best in town, he knows it, and--more importantly--knows how to treat his patients to remain at the top of the PCP/IM heap for some time to come. You'll leave his office with a pep in your step, having realized that you've finally found a nearly perfect, world class physician

Dr. Lege has excellent patient manner. Once he gets to know you, he is able to anticipate your needs and has tests run that are spot on. He is good about answering your questions thoroughly and explaining his decisions. He is also very quick in knowing about just about anything that might come up.

I took me a few weeks to get an initial appointment with him, but it was worth it--very thorough, very professional, and very nice!
