Dr. Christopher J Loughlin, MD

Dr. Loughlin is an excellent doctor and an even better surgeon. I have been having sinusitis issues for the last 7 months and went through various courses of medications, antibiotics, and steroids and nothing seemed to help. I couldn't breathe through either nostril and was developing asthmatic reactions to the inflammation and post nasal drip from my sinuses. I went to my ENT who recommended a full endoscopic sinus surgery in the hospital under full anesthesia. However, i then met with Dr. Loughlin at the CT sinus center in Shelton. He was very open and gave me a full explanation of what was occurring in my sinuses. He then told me the positives and negatives of having my sinuses repaired in an outpatient setting. I decided that based on the cost benefits and being under local anesthetic with a short recovery period sounded much better for my busy schedule. I ended up having the balloon sinuplasty in the office setting, with part of my sinuses shaved and polyps removed with Dr.… Loughlin. And now I can confidently say it was the best decision. 1 week out and i can breathe perfectly through my nose again!!! I can finally go to the gym, go out with my friends, and most importantly stop using tissues every 10 minutes. This procedure helped me in so many ways and it took little to time for me to feel improvement. Dr. Loughlin's office approach to sinus surgery is amazing and he is truly a gifted surgery and very innovative physician. He deserves great praise and I would highly recommend him for anyone experiencing sinus issues like me. I would give 10 stars if possible!

Dr. Loughlin takes his time and talks to his patients to describe the procedures and his thinking around the treatment he recommends. He performed my surgery with no issues. He is cotinuously following up and making sure my treatment is thorough. His staff is also very good.

Dr. Loughlin took the time to explain everything to me during my visit without rushing at all. He listened to all that I had to say, too. It's obvious to me that he knows what he's doing without having that cocky personality. So glad I found him!
