Best in his field. Couldn't ask for a better doctor nor a better person!

Dr Makris has been treating my daughter for a couple of years for exercise induced asthma. He talks directly to her and makes her laugh. He's very kind and never seems to be in a hurry to go see another patient. I'd highly recommend him and his office staff--all very friendly and professional. Worth the drive from Niceville!

Dr. Makris has been my pulmonary doctor ever since I was 6 years old. I am 20 now and he'll always be my favorite doctor.

He was my daughter's pulmonary doctor for years. We have since moved to Tennessee and are used to excellent care from being his patient. We do not get it here. I am currently considering making the drive to Birmingham so she can see him again. He is an awesome doctor who cares very much about his patients. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

This doctor is one of the best. My son has a congenital syndrome that can cause a lot of different issues, and we came in contact with Dr. Makris through the sleep study clinic. He helped lead us to a rare congenital heart diagnosis and helped guide our son's care when no other doctor had stepped up to take charge of several complicated medical issues. He went above and beyond to explain the nuances of my son's condition, and he was kind and considerate - something not many doctors seem to care about. We never even saw him regularly, but in 48 hours he made more of a difference than almost any other doctor we've had, including the ones that have operated on my son! Five stars.

Dr. Makris gets my favorite doctor of all time award. My 2 year old daughter had some complicated issues and required hospitalization. Dr. Makris was always calm, always patient focused, while recognizing parental concerns and stress. Dr. Makris sharpied faces on tongue depressors and put on a little puppet show for my daughter while explaining her medical condition and therapies to me. Annabelle and I love this man like he's a member of the family. You will too.

Chris Makris' expertise with both of my children's lung disease was worth any amount of time I had to wait for it. He was WONDERFUL with my children and with me. He is caring, focused, and so knowledgable. He is an asset to his profession!
