Dr. Christopher E. Mandigo

November 26, 2024 will be 14 years since my mother has been gone. Dr. Mandigo operated on her. He operated on her knowing right before her surgery that she had a pulmonary embolism. He should had postponed the surgery. But he made the executive decision to go ahead. As a result, my mother had a heart attack and a stroke and never recovered. He was a no show when we the family had questions. He may ask how did we the family know about the situation before the surgery, the anesthesiologist spoke to us and his opinion was the surgery should had been canceled. And the decision should had been left up to the family as to what next action was to be taken. This man is a monster and he plays with people lives!

While it's true I waited for hours upon hours in his office it's a doctor's hands, not the wait time that matter. I have had one botched surgery after another. The pain from his hand is so severe that I don't want to continue existence. I love my wife and my children so much. How am I supposed to say goodbye? I'm a kind god-fearing man who is writing this review, hoping to save just one person from Dr. Mandigo.

Was never told how severe surgery and recovery would be and left w severe nerve damage from surgery. 2 years later spent 4 days in the hospital due directly to his post surgery aftercare neglect. He and staff dont return phone calls either. Worst experience ever. Run away as fast as you can

The best medical experience ever! "Back surgery" is scary. Dr. Mandigo started by explaining fully what my problem was, what to expect and what options I had. Professional and caring he did an amazing surgical procedure and within 24 hours I was feeling 100%. The office staff were responsive, accommodating and friendly.

Horrible place! Don't waste your time. Im leaving his office without being seen after waiting 2 hours. They said he was running behind schedule ok fine. But after 2 hours I asked how much longer and I'm told well there is a form missing. The receptionist is clueless but then again she is new. The nurse or assistant in blue scrubs who never gave her name has an attitude when I complained about the wait and missing form. The secretary is no better. I remember when I first called to make an appointment couldn't get her to answer the phone. I think she enjoys phone tag when dealing with new patients. I request my reports and CDs and it took another half hour to get my forms back. To top it all off nobody even bother to apologize. I suffered two accidents that makes sitting or standing for long periods of time a hardship. The pain got so bad I knocked out from it. Seriously I don't recommend this doctor at all and will be having words with my PCP about referring me to him. Waste of time.

Very patient, very competent, very humane.

Dr. Mandigo was extensive in his detailed explanation of my condition, options, potential outcomes, risks and benefits of surgery. He was attentive and available after surgery. He was very generous and made himself accessible after surgery during complications. He also saw me immediately and was attentive on an ongoing basis as we worked through challenges. I find him to be one of the best doctors that I have ever met.

Dr Mandigo is a very compassionate doctor. He is also a very honorable man that I have trusted completely and will continue to do so....in doing the RIGHT thing. My hope & prayer is that he will keep his values and always remember his patients have lives we live when we leave his office. God Bless You.

After surgery from Mandigo I was worse off than before the surgery. Before surgery I could walk without a cane or walker. Now I am an invalid in need of support to walk even a few feet. Dr. Mandigo totally misrepresented the outcome of the surgery to me. I hope he is not allowed to continue his practice at Columbia. The result of his surgery is devastating to me. I think he is a horrible person. I do not want others to suffer as I suffer.

He performed surgery on me. He made me worse than I was before surgery. He also misrepresented his ability to help me. He is a disgusting human being.
