He was very helpful in solving my complex urinary problems and supported me every step of the way. So happy he is my doctor!

Didnt like him. Was sent there by another doctor. Dr. Maull claims my husband too big and he doesnt want to even try surgery. Said we could get second opinion. Also told us ithe mri that was done could have missed something because of his size. It could have spread to other places that cant see. But Im sure will get bill for nothing done!

Not sure what I did to anger him but after over 1 1/2 hrs in the waiting room, he was very angry.During a rectal exam he used several fingers and there was no examining me, just an rectal reaming! I bleed for 3 days. I am now dealing with PTSD. Happened in 2014. Just starting to be able to talk about it. Going to the police and Maryland board of physicians. Sorry to anyone who may have had a similar experience because I did not say something sooner.

Primary Care made an appointment with Dr. Maul to advise on possible Peyronies.. Office calls to cancel my appointment that I waited 2 months for and says we can get you a visit in another 2 months . When I asked what the visit would consist of lady says evaluation only we dont treat Peyronies... Glad I didnt go and waste my time or money..

I had an outside of the hospital experience, but on hospital property, and found Dr. Maull to be very rude. All I could think about is if he treats his patients this way, he would never be a Dr. that I will visit!!!

Dr. Maull lacks bedside manner. He is not personable and does not listen to his patients. He tends to talk over them when they are trying to explain how they are feeling or what is happening with them. He is not consistent in what he tells the patient about their medical options. He is does not do appropriate follow-up before or after performing surgery. He comes off as arrogant and does not seem respectful to elderly patients who are probably the bulk of his patients. He is very cold. I have not heard him address the patient by their first name or by the last name in a cheerful and friendly manner. Patients need to fill comfortable with him in order to express themselves especially the elderly. Younger patients would know how to more appropriately respond to his bad bedside manner.

Doctor Maull is considerate and trustworthy ,He does need better follow ups and repair of some operations that don't go 100% right ! He tells patients with complications after operations to see their family doctor, then family doctor tells patient to see specialist(him) .Run around not needed if follow up sees problem and repairs it ! Forget about getting needed medicine when you call in ,nurse does not call insurance company when needed and you will not get a return call from his office ! Staff and nurses totally ignore you(not all just a few) ! PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THIS IS MOST DOCTORS PRACTICE ,TREATMENT, YOU COME TO EXPECT FROM THE MEDICAL PROFESSION ! I RESPECT AND LIKE DR MAULL< HIS STAFF NEEDS TRAINING ! DIFFICULT TO GET MEDICATION CALLED IN !

Customer service skills of the physician and office staff unacceptable.

Dr. Maull is truly a great surgeon with excellent skills and should be highly regarded in his specialty. Dr. Maull was also wonderful with the follow up appointment with my father and am grateful for all his friendly advance for improve health and recovery following my fathers surgery.With great appreciation!
