Dr. Christopher Alan Mccarty, MD

It feels like he treats his patients as walking paychecks... He never gave the opportunity to explain why you are there. It wasnt just me he did this too, I could over hear him doing this to his other patients as well.. Saw the doctor for maybe 2 minutes just for him to tell me I'm fine and another doctor will give me medicine to fix it. However I was referred to him because my doctor could not prescribed the medication needed. On top of that it seemed as if I had to prove to him that there was something wrong. Dr. MCCARTHY could not just listen and accept that I had a problem and was referred out to him. He told me it was all in my head.. It was like trying to prove my client was innocent in courtroom full of opposition. His nurses or staff were amazing however.

I had to have cataract surgery in both eyes done by dr. McCarty. That portion went fine. However I developed secondary cataracts in one eye so dr McCarty used a yag laser to treat it. After that I had horrible glares from lights. It ruined my night vision completely. I complained about it to McCarty and he said there was nothing wrong. Sent me to their retinal specialist Aragorn or whatever his name was in the same office who also told me there was nothing wrong and essentially said it was in my head. A few months later I went to my optometrist to get my glasses script redone. I had not even mentioned to her that I had the secondary cataracts or anything. During her exam she said “someone put a pit in your new lense with a tag laser and it’s right in the center.” McCarty and Aragorn both lied to my face to cover his mistake. Now I cannot drive at all when the ground is wet at night. Terrible doctor.
