I traveled to Cleveland, OH to consult with Dr. McHenry about a minimally-invasive parathyroidectomy. Dr McHenry's expertise, professionalism, kindness and respectful answering of my questions gave me confidence in my surgery. He explained the tests I'd need and my surgery which also gave me confidence and a sense of control. The surgery went great. My scar is much smaller and much less obvious than I expected, and best yet, I feel better than I have in years!

I started seeing Dr McHenry in the 90's for a mass in my thyroid. Ultimately I developed hyperthyroidism. In 2003, he removed my thyroid, finding a speck of papillary cancer. Then, he was kind enough to remove a mole. This unfortunately, was melanoma. The way he breaks news to you, even over the phone, is calming and informative. Years later, he removed my daughter's thyroid. No one but Dr McHenry was going to touch my child, even if she is an adult. He's professional, very kind, and an excellent surgeon. I still see him yearly. Also, even though his office staff has changed since the 90's, I neverhesitate to call with any questions. In, fact, when I phoned for my daughter, she saw Dr. McHenry within a 3 days. That'spatient care!
