Dr. Christopher G Mondello, DO

I have never had any problems here, Dr Mondello and his wife Carol are very kind; they're a blessing.

I don’t usually post but I have a psa to share of the most infuriating physician service I have ever seen. I apologize in advance for the long post. I would strongly avoid Mondello clinic at any cost! The priority is $$ not patient care! I am a disable individual with many chronic conditions and have also had undiagnosed pain since October that I have gotten procedures and surgeries with no answers so I know I can be challenging for many doctors. I have gone to Dr. Christopher Mondello for the last 11 months. I saw a pa 4 times in less than a year but never met Mondello. Until today when I spoke with the PA who, even though I corresponded with her via portal, phone and internal messages she seemed upset at my requests for labs and said she wasn’t aware of my request. After she noted my lab requests she left the room and she and Dr Mondello returned. Long story short he explained that because I chose an HMO which only pays him $1000/month that I have exceeded my $1000 of work his office… has to spend each month. When I asked what about the $1000/month you got when I didn’t come in he explained that I am taking resources away from his other patients but staff has to spend time on me so he wasn’t going to do any of the requested labs that I waited a month to get or anything else for me. I was floored! I waited a month to get labs done hoping to find some answers to my pain only to be told they refuse to do them or anything else. So I am left mid month with no pcp, no labs to give answers, and no closer to finding an answer for the pain.

Most of the staff is terribly unfriendly. Don't see doctor often, nurse practitioner rushes through visits. Service and quality has fallen off.

Patient from Frostproof Office for over 7 years. Always treated/seen by Dr. Donna Perkins. Wonderful, Caring, Kind, Smart, Down to Earth Doctor and person. She is the main reason I remain with Mondello. Been treated by Dr. M just once, but he seems to be all.of the above as well. If his policy hadn't changed on e-scribing prescriptions this year, I would give them 5-stars. I've had more than 3 issues with him not sending the script to my pharmacy before they closed, or sending it to wrong pharmacy. That policy is very frustrating as a patient. Other than that, I love the place.

Been Going To Dr. Mondello For Years--Excellant Care.

I started her about a year ago. It was a great move for me. They listen to my concerns and needs and truly try to help.

staff dose not know alot of things they should if working for Dr. Mondello... can leave a message n they never get back to you , sending in wrong meds to the drug store, seems like his staff is always new, to much turn over, wish he would read this ,cuz there is so many ppl. leaving him becuz of the staff not careing enough, n not doing the job they need to do....

Excellent Doctor and excellent staff

Cannot get office staff to send referral paperwork for follow up testing. This request was sent in over 4 weeks ago. For someone who has cancer, this is very critical. Just looking for them to forward information as requested.

I have been a Patient for many years but I am leaving this Doctor. The reason is: I no longer feel important to him.I feel bad about leaving but I guess his other part of the office is more important to him. I could not get my Lab Results after calling several times.
