Dr. Christopher Charles Muenchen, MD

He was possibly the rudest, most disconnected, arrogant, ego based, and incompetent doctor I have come across. It was clear within 90 seconds he did not want to hear a thing I said nor answer a question. For example when asked how do handle my current situation as not end up in the emergency room again in 48-72 hours. His answer was I don’t know I don’t have a crystal ball. I’m an articulate educated woman. Not only is his lack or professionalism unacceptable it is highly insulting. For all of the marketing Jupiter Medical puts out claiming to stand above they should really reconsider having this doctor as a first touch pint in an ER.

I understand ERs get busy and staff overwhelmed, however, that doesn’t give Drs the right to be dismissive, and condescending. I was sent to ER by imaging earlier in the day, making me believe I had an emergency going on. 7 hours later in ER, Dr. Muenchen read me the same results I already knew from my earlier CT scan and sent me home. When I expressed my confusion as to why I needed to stay in the ER 7 hrs to have the same results read back to me as was earlier, he cut me off, hardly allowed me to talk, and gave lame answers. I was sooo upset and angry I’m certain I left with high blood pressure.

I have a severe chronic illness, so I am around doctors and hospitals way more than any person should be. With that being said, Dr. Muenchen is the rudest Doctor I have ever met. His bedside manner is absolutely horrible, especially for an emergency room. People typically come to the ER on the worst days of their lives, nobody is having a good day. So to have a doctor go out of his way to be so condescending and nasty when I was extremely ill brought not only me to tears, but my mother as well. I have seen him more than once so I know it was much more than him having a rough day, it's just who he is. I would never recommend Dr. Muenchen to any one I know.
