Dr. Christopher J. Myers, MD, MD

Definitely bypass this doctor due to his office staff. This office victimized when a 9-page document (a dissertation really) was not completed. The document asked for a complete medical history that's found in UPMCs extensive digital vault preferred to random, perhaps unqualified office staff passing it around. The overweight and unhealthy dietitian hired by Myers insisted on an expensive nutrition education not covered by insurance. Her demeanor and lack of communication skills denotes an incompetent instructor. From an experience such as this one, a patient could easily see more effort to prevent malpractice than care for patients.

Dr. Myers is a fantastic surgeon, has compassion and will do everything he can to ensure the best health of his patients. I have been seeing him for about a year and a half; previous saw him also. He truly cares about the health and well being of his patients. I highly recommend him as a physician.

Dr. Myers is so awesome. I was referred a family doctor who said Dr. Myers had great history of avoiding surgical infections. He took out my gall bladder and cystic amassed ovaries. He was so calm and caring and did a phenomenal job with precision, all via a tiny scope and no visible scars. After years of pain and dealing with incompetent big city doctors, I was within days pain free!! What a great find we are so grateful to Dr. Myers. The Greenville hospital was top notch too.

Was discharged from local ER, went back hours later with severe pain. Dr Meyers came in to see me for a surgical consult and literally saved my life. His attention to detail cannot be surpassed. He left no stone unturned. His office staff went above and beyond to accommodate me with paperwork issues for work.

I can not say enough good things about Dr.Myer’s and the staff at the New Castle office. They are thorough, caring, and excellent at what they do. Karen was extra wonderful with scheduling and care. If you need your gallbladder evaluated/removed I highly recommend them!!

He is the most talented and kind GI surgeon one could ever find. Tried the big city doctors first but they were useless. I had some very complicated issues that other doctors were afraid to take on, but Dr Meyers took it on and fixed everything like new!

I went for the gastric sleeve and have been very satisfied with Dr. Meyers and the staff care. I find they are extremely thorough.

Dr. Myers and his staff were very courteous, helpful and pleasant to work with. Whenever we had a question, they offered assistance. Understanding our concerns Dr. Myers even called the day before surgery to offer assistance with any unanswered questions and reassurance. His bedside manner and post surgery communciations were excellant. People have to remember just because they are the doctors doesn't mean they can read you mind - if you have a questions you have to explain your concerns...I highly recommend his services!

Nice person and good bedside manner.Had problems with surgery and was dismissed by Dr. Myers and he never adressed those problems or fixed them afterwards, my PCP had to do this.
