Dr. Tiffany Alexis Najberg, DO

I had to make a trip to the ER due to sudden appendicitis and was met by Dr. Najberg. He took the time to listen to me and then immediately ordered scans. Once the results came back, an appendectomy was scheduled for the following morning. After my surgery when I was out of the ER and on another floor, Dr. Najberg came by to check on me before his shift began, even though i was no longer assigned to him. I try to stay out of ER’s, but I hope he’s my doc if I ever have to go back.

On May 26th 2017 my wife and I carried our grandson to the ER at Saint Francis Medical Center in Monroe La. He had fallen off of a swimming pool slide and hit his head on the concrete slab below. He had started throwing up and was unresponsive. He was seen by Doctor Najberg which ordered a emergency cat scan of his head The CT scan showed he had a skull fracture with a brain bleed. He immediately called Doctor Bermudez who came in and performed emergency surgery on his brain to stop the bleed. I have read some unfavorable reviews on this site and disagree with them all. If it had not been for quick and decisive action by Doctor Najberg we would not have our grandson with us today, I just thank the Lord that Doctor Najberg was the ER doctor at work that day. He and his staff were great, they made quick decisions and the right decisions to save my grandsons life. He and his staff were friendly and caring. My grandson made a complete recovery, and if not for the scar left from the… surgery you would not be able to tell anything had happened to him. Thank you so much Doctor Najberg, you are the best in my book.

I don't know why the previous person gave Dr. Najberg a 1 because of the long wait they had. All hospitals have long waits. Oschner Hospital is a very large hospital with a lot of patients and this should not reflect on Dr. Najberg's rating. Dr. Najberg is caring as long as you are not a drug abuser.

He did not show any concern for my well being. He came in room and tried to tell me what I need to do, but with my diagnosis it was the wrong instructions. He also said you might have something wrong, but you are okay at the moment, but may end up in ICU next week. He was extremely rude and ignored every question and would not answer my friend's questions that was with me. It is a shame that they allow doctors of his lack of empathy or lack of a common diagnosis to over see any patient at all. Especially sick ER patients!! If you see his name ask for a different doctor immediately!!
