Dr. Christopher Joseph Pappas, DPM

Dr Pappas is a good podiatrist and I am happy with how he assessed my case and with the treatment he recommended. I feel like my issue has been resolved successfully. However, I had to shave off a star due to Flora’s (the medical assistant’s) unprofessional attitude and behavior. First, I came to the office about a month ago after receiving a phone call from her telling me to come in for a scheduled appointment. I double checked with her on the phone and she confirmed that the alleged appointment was on the calendar. When I arrived, after 20 min of waiting, she informed me that she had made a mistake and that the appointment is in fact scheduled to be in a month. No big deal, I told her mistakes happen, and left. Today, my appointment was scheduled for 9am. She told me that the dr wouldn’t take long. At 9:50 I came out of the room and asked if the dr had forgotten about me, since it’s been nearly an hour past my appointment time. With an attitude she told me he’s with another patient.… When I pushed back and said she’d told me the wait wouldn’t have been long she just rudely said “ok.” No “I’m sorry” or any other sign of remorse or good customer service. Not only the appointment costs me hundreds of dollars, but I also had to take time off work and pay for a babysitter to watch my child. Clearly to Flora others’ time and work commitments aren’t important enough to even say “I’m sorry.” Because of her lack of professionalism and bad attitude, I will not recommend this office to anyone.

I am a physician that needed to undergo surgery due to a R foot Morton's Neuroma and my podiatrist referred me to Dr. Pappas. Getting an appointment was not easy as he is very busy but once I met him, knew he was the best doctor I could have. Not only he is very knowledgeable and professional but he develops empathy with his patients. His assistant, Flora is a charming, professional and very helpful person as there were issues between Holy Cross with my primary doctor for the surgical clearance which was finally approved with Flora's help. My only negative comment is the environment at the Holy Cross clinic where his office is located. A noisy, disorganized and busy environment and waiting time can be 30 mins or so. I highly recommend Dr. Pappas.
