Dr. Christopher Phillip Patton, DO

Dr. Patton was very friendly, understanding and explained my MRI findings in a clear and concise way that I could understand. I am looking forward to the treatments he has planned for me.

After waiting 4 months to see Dr. Patton, he was rude and not very communicative. He said snidely that he did not have a magic wand that could help my back. He recommended an epidural that did not help me at all.

I've been very happy with the treatment I've received from Dr. Patton.

He was unhelpful, rude, judgmental and pegged me as drug seeking right away. Never addressed my problem and sarcastically wished me luck on finding help with it. He was uninterested in my symptoms and didn't believe that I was in pain. Being in pain was the entire reason I went to see him. He said right away he wouldn't prescribe narcotics, even thought I never asked for them. I asked for help with my pain, as in "what is going on? Why am I in pain?". There are non- Narcotic inflammation medicines, and steroids that can minimize the pain. He couldn't even recommend where I could go next to find out what is wrong with me. I had to find out on the internet myself that there are several specific stretches you can do to elevate the specific pain. I think I got a bad diagnosis based on his underestimations of me. As for his staff. The lady at the front that checks you in is rude and judgmental as well. She makes you take a seat and then calls you up to check in, up and down up and down,… this is painful and unnecessary. My experience with Dr. Patton and his staff was humiliating , expensive and unhelpful. If you like being treated like an idiot and a liar then by all means go visit Dr. Matthew W. Patton, MD and desk staff.

My chiropractor, whom I have known and trusted for many years, came with me to see Patton. He was icy and condescending to both of us. He clearly did not appreciate having her there and I even overheard him speaking to her in a snide tone in the hall while I got dressed. He did not like it when I asked questions and actually reprimanded me saying, "That's not how I usually do things!" He was either unable or unwilling to explain anything in a cohesive way and was dismissive and annoyed. He was on his way out the door, but I still had questions and I asked if he was coming back. He sighed, looked over his shoulder and said, "Probably not." We left feeling bamboozled and confused. I've met a lot of bad doctors in my day, but Christopher Patton takes the cake. I will neither return to see him, nor would I ever recommend him.

Great doctor!!!! Has been a doctor for me the last 7 to 9 years has always done an outstanding job and saved me many hours of pain. Thank you Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!
