Dr. Christopher Cullen Pickett, MD

After my husband was diagnosed unexpectedly with AFIB, Dr. Pickett squeezed him in to review and treat his symptoms. He was extremely responsive, thorough, and had a friendly, positive demeanor. He said he'd call after test results were in, and he did so shortly after we received them on my Chart. We were very thankful and impressed with his follow up. Coming from a medical family, I truly appreciate a thorough and knowledgeable doctor that takes patient care into consideration. Highly recommend!!! Nancy and Ken Keane

Love this doctor, he is great with patients, explaining everything about my condition(AFIB). However, I am planning to find another doctor due to the poor staff. It takes the office at least two days to respond to my calls about medication(I was taking a drug that was recalled, that my pharmacy would not refill due to the recall...so I went two days without my heart meds). Neither did they respond to the pharmacy calling about the same issue. Plus they are rude on the phone to boot- acting like my call is an inconvenience. If they are too busy to address a small issue, what would happen with something important?

I brought my 89-year-old mother to be seen and I had a few questions written down on paper immediately he was so hostile. Everything I asked about he would respond by attributing it to her age as if there was nothing he could do. I’m not talking about anything complicated I’m talking about simple problems like low potassium on her bloodwork. My mother is on warfarin and he said he doesn’t check in on the levels she would have to call the nurse what kind of doctor practices like this. He’s arrogant and not that smart because if he was any educated competent doctor would not be offended with a patients daughter coming in with a few questions on paper. I wouldn’t even give him a one star but that what’s the required minimum. I could go on to some of his answers that were beyond ludicrous but not worth the details just giving you the overall picture of a very insecure and competent doctor whose ego needs to be checked at the door.

Truly a great doctor and caring individual. Chris is the doctor that all doctors should aspire to emulate.
