Dr. Christopher Lynn Polen, MD

Dr. Polen should be ashamed to call himself a doctor. My father spent 22 days in the hospital with covid, on day 20, he was placed on a vent and received a CT scan after being intubated. My family was unable to be at the hospital because of covid regulations so we had to depend on his doctors to call us and inform us about my fathers condition. We finally got a call from his nurse and when we asked if Dr. Polen could let us know my fathers CT scan results, his exact words to the nurse were, “Not happening. I don’t have time today.” My father died the next morning. After he was ventilated for approx 36 hours, we never heard from a doctor until it was time to remove him off of the ventilator. We never were told his CT scan results. Our family will always remember Dr. Polen and how he was a terrible doctor. He needs to take a course on bedside manner because he seems to have forgotten how to treat his patients and their families.

This Doctor did not care enough to talk to family or patient, until 3 days later when he was made too. If you or a loved one is in his care! RUN away get help at CMC before its to late!!!!!
