Dr. Christopher Calmer Pratt, DO

He's very nice, knows what he's doing and good and fast. He has done several lumbar injections for me over the years, always has good music playing in the OR although I'm in there for about 4 minutes

My first appointment was with Christy. She was rude to me and didn't listen to what I was trying to tell her. She never even examined my knee at all. While I was trying to describe my issues she kept telling me about herself. I'm sorry, but this appointment that I am paying for is not about you lady. She prescribed me an oral anti inflammatory and a topical one as well. After 2 weeks of taking this medication I was having an allergic reaction with my face swelling and horrible stomach issues. I called them and they scheduled me another appointment. At the 2nd appointment she still did not look at my knee at all. And her response to my reaction to the anti inflammatory was, well I guess you shouldn't take those anymore huh?! Then she said that I now needed an MRI on my back. I have no back pain whatsoever. This makes no sense at all because I am there for knee pain. They seem to just want your money and do not care about you at all. I iwill never go back to that place and would NOT… recommend them to anyone.

I never met the doctor. His office staff referred me for an MRI. I had a follow up appointment to discuss the results. Again, the doctor was not present. The office worker told me I would meet the doctor in the surgical center during the procedure. That was very different from all other pre-procedure experiences that I have had. In all other cases, the doctor examined me and discussed the procedure. I asked for an office visit with the doctor. I was told it would be a month or so, but if I wanted the injection, I could receive it in 5 days. It appears that he is more concerned with sticking people than performing a complete examination.

Dr. Pratt is a wonderful doc! He knows what he is doing! The Rhizotomy greatly improved my pain. His PA, Christy, sucks! I saw her first, she never even looked at me OR my chart (I wasn't even finished filling out my medical history) when she came in the room! She sat down at her computer and turned her back on me, asked a few questions then said we were good to go with the next round of injections. WTHeck??? LOOK at your patient, LISTEN to your patient, FIND OUT what your patient's history is!!!!! As a former nurse, I found her behavior and "professionalism" extremely lacking!

Dr. Pratt is the best pain management doc in the area. He is an absolute pro when it comes to treatments and options. He takes the time to explain things and make sure you have all your questions answered. He is board certified and is the only person I let do procedures on my back. His office is warm and understanding. All around great doctor with great staff. A++++

As a patient (and fellow physician) I give Dr Pratt my highest recommendation. He has incredible compassion and technical skill in pain management. He gave me trigger point injections that rapidly relieved my severe pain that hadn't improved with medications, physical therapy, chiropractic or massage. I have no hesitation recommending him to my patients, friends and family.

My orthopedic surgeon recommended Dr Pratt and I went to see him and carried all my MRC discs and paper reviews as instructed by the office. I had injections over 3 months and nothing helped. On the third procedure he asked for my MRI review and I stated I brought those the first visit he said he could not read the disc and wanted paper and I stated I brought those too. He did not have them and called for those to be faxed to him and then he read it and decided to try another shot on my left side. I almost left then when I realized he had not even ever looked at my MRI reports and I was very disappointed. I did go one last time and it did not help. I am seeing another Doctor and will not recommend this Doctor. In my opinion I believe Doctors should reviews MRI's before making any suggestions on what would help.

Dr. Pratt is a very caring doctor that cares about his patients. Appointments are prompt with very little wait time. I have depended on him for controlling my back pain for 5 years. Office staff is very pleasant as well as professional.

Dr. Pratt has given me spinal cortisone injections twice. When the no longer helped my pain he prescribed Lyrica. It worked extremely well. I no longer have low back pain. I now have a bulging disc in my neck pressing in my spinal cord. I'm seeing him again for further injections. Yes, he is a DO and not an MD, however my back surgeon who is an MD referred him to me. I told him my concern that he wasn't an MD and he told me he sent his own father to him. So I gave him a try. So far he gets five stars from me.

He has taken care of me and my pain quite well. Talk to him about your needs, your options, and what you want. I have had in depth conversations with him about my options and which one is best for me. I am living with vastly less pain now.
