Dr. Christopher Edgar Rhody, DO

The only good doctor at this facility is Lisa criss . Dr.phony is an absolute joke , as you can tell by the previous patients below . They have had me on lexapeo and bupropion for depression/anxiety. I have not been to their office since September. He has been refilling all of my prescriptions that they pushed on me , every single month . I go to get my prescription filled yesterday and the pharmacist says he discontinued it for me and I have to call them to find out why . I called in and was told it’s bc I have not had an apt there since September. Well I’m in the process of switching doctors bc of how terrible he is . I am now out of my depression medicine they prescribed me and probably going to withdrawal . I cannot get an apt with my new doctor for a couple of weeks . I asked them , why was I not informed . She claims they have called , and sent a letter back in September. Well I have called every single month because I needed a refill on my prescription, that he gladly sent over… . Why would they not tell me I needed to come in for an apointment or he was going to cold Turkey cut me off of my medicines ? Ii never received a letter . It could be bc I have moved around a lot last year , but that was LAST YEAR in September !! I have actively reached out to them since . Last time I was there , they were referring me to a psychiatrist for my ADHD. I never heard from them . When I would call and ask about it , I would be told they are still working on it , and these things take time . Then I see in my patient noted that they had to refer me to a different psychiatrist bc my mother was seeing the previous one that I was waiting for a call about . That’s a lie . My mom has NEVER been to a therapist or a psychiatrist . So when they told me this , I said YET AGAIN, Why did no one tell me when I would call ? I had just called last month for my refill. Would have been nice for them to say , hey we need to make an apt or we are going to abruptly take you off if your medicine , or hey , yeah we can refill that but we did finally make you a psychiatrist apt and you missed it . We need you to come in or he will be disconning your prescription. Very unprofessional in my opinion. He was always very rude and judgmental . Like I said my problem was not that I needed to be seen to get my medicine filled , my problem was no one told me that , dispute the numerous times I’ve called them , and then just canceled it out of nowhere . From what I hear , stopping depression medicines cold Turkey can be bad . Hope there isn’t an issue until I can get to my new doctor . This place has poor communication, is extremely judgmental and I would not recommend for anyone . I was in need of help as I didn’t have health insurance , which is why I went here . I guess you get what you pay for ???????.

Dr. Brody is definitely not one that listens. More so mumbles smart remarks. Call him out and correct him spot on. He doe not like it. I've had very serious problems with my legs. Needless to say, I feel with the lack of communication talking to Rhody about the severity of the problem. Being it's now been a year later with several antibiotics, from another doctor and Rhody. The problem still exist with bad infection, in the care of Rhody. So scared of losing my legs. Feels like bees nest in my legs. Rhody remark, "we're not concerned about the bees". I called him out, reminding him I was talking about the bee sting in my legs. Bad doctor. Don't go to him. He has no people manner

I have 4 stage cancer because of this dr. Refuge to sent me for testing when I was having problems .

I think Dr.Rhody is an awesome PCP and I'm hoping I can find him at his new place!

I have been seeing Dr Rhody for 7 years. He was the first doctor who took my fibromyalgia symptoms seriously. He always took the time to listen to all my concerns and explained everything in detail to me. I was never rushed by him no matter how busy the office was. He just recently left the Canonsburgh office and I am very upset. Its very hard to find a caring doctor like him. They started changing his staff around ALOT then he was leaving. The ladies in the officego on about how they like Dr V more....I'd like to tell them they haven't worked with Dr Rhody for more than a couple months, he is a great doctor. Dr V is nice but I can't understand him. They all seemed to turn against Dr Rhody but I don't care, when I find where he is practicing I will definitely follow.

I agree with the other reviewers who are not satisfied with Dr Rhody. I am looking for someone else. I've been seeing him as my pcp for about four years and have been dissatisfied from the first visit. I do believe that he is very knowledgable, but along with that I find him to be quite arrogant which I feel interferes with his willingness to truely understand whatever my problem is. Whenever I begin to describe the reason(s) for my visit, he almost instantaneously gives me a diagnosis and a prescription without hearing me out. I feel he quickly dismisses any explanations or thoughts I have as if nothing I have to say is of any importance because he knows all. I have seen him several times in the last few weeks for a recurring problem. In each case the medications he prescribed helped, but did not resolve the problem. On each follow up visit, there was no analysis of whether or not any of the several meds he had prescribed had helped with any of my symptoms. Instead, he promptly… prescribed other prescriptions without any discussion, then rushed me out the door. In terms of the office staff, while they are very friendly, I find them to be quite incompetent. I haven't been able to conclude whether this is because they don't know what they're doing, or because they have more to do than it's possible to handle. Whatever it is I have had some of the same issues with them as some of the other reviewers (calls not being returned, paperwork not handled in a timely manner and so on).

This drs office is one of the worst i've ever dealt with! besides the fact that u cant get any real answers from dr. Rhody, the staff is ridiculous! This is by far the most disorganized, unprofessional, incompetent, office I ever seen. Do yourself a favor, find a better doctors office, it shouldn't be hard!

I got kick out of his practice because they forgot to drug test me while I was there. My wife got the message that they wanted me back to do a drug test and I had less than a hour to come back before they closed. I dont have a vehicle and had no way to make it back.. I asked if I could come in the next morning or go somewhere else that night & get a drug test done they said no and that if I didnt make it in I may be discharged.. I dont do drugs and this was not fair!!

doctor was great. Took the time with me at my visit. Have my family here with him and would not trust anyone else to take care of them. Has great office hours. Just walk in. Everyone should make him your PCP

I have seen so many doctors, with out taking me seriously and with out any help. This Doctor diagnosed me correctly and was right on the nose. I wish we had more docs like this. He listened to me unlike the other docs I have seen. I would recommend him to family and friends. Best Doctor ever
