Dr. Christopher Mark Ripperda, MD

I don't like to leave negative reviews, but my experience with Dr. Ripperda was one of the most painful medical appointments I have ever had. I was referred to him after my OB/GYN identified an area of concern and recommended evaluation by a urogynecologist. During my appointment, a biopsy was discussed, but Dr. Ripperda decided not to pursue that option and instead treated the area with silver nitrate. What concerns me most is the amount of pain I experienced during the procedure. I repeatedly told Dr. Ripperda that I was in significant pain and also communicated this to his nurse. Despite this, the procedure continued, and I felt that the severity of my discomfort was not fully acknowledged. The pain was not minor or temporary. I was shaking when I left the office, and the discomfort continued for days afterward. More than two weeks later, I was still dealing with the same symptoms that led me to seek treatment in the first place. I later received a follow-up call and explained… my concerns. While I appreciated the outreach, the experience itself left such a negative impression that I was reluctant to return for additional care. Every patient deserves to feel heard, especially when they are expressing that they are in severe pain. Unfortunately, I left this appointment feeling dismissed, physically uncomfortable, and no closer to resolving my medical issue.

I was just in the office a week ago. I had a very good visit he is excellent and highly recommend him to anyone that is looking to see a urologist or gynecologist. Clean office, staff very nice and professional with no long wait time. My first visit and it was good.

Staff is friendly, lobby is clean, and no clutter seen, wait times have been minimal during both visits. Dr.Ripperda seems to listen to complaints and provide treatment accordingly. Up to this point it has all been "needing a hysterectomy". When I told him that was not an option he seemed to genuinely care about my thoughts towards it and has made a case plan to help keep me from surgery this far any way. More than any gyno has been able to do for the last 8 years when dealing with these female problems.

I recently had reconstructive surgery and have had a excellent experience. I usually don't like Doctors but he takes the time to answer all your questions and concerns. His office staff are all very nice as well! So happy I found him.No waiting! Highly recommend.

Dr. Ripperda is a very patient and kind person...he does not rush you and takes time to explain procedures to you. I have trust in him after just two visits to his office.

Dr. Ripperda is not only a caring physician, but carefully explains procedures. His "bedside" manner is what I wish all M.D.'s had - kind, not rushing you through - a very gentle soul.
