Dr. Christopher Todd Romey, MD

I was admitted to Providence Sacred Heart Hospital, Spokane ER with heart afibrillation. Dr. Romey was the best part of my experience. Though having to work rapidly, Dr. Romey bolstered my confidence by appearing very much on top of matters, his bearing, detailed communications, and friendly demeanor.

Terrible! My sister was in the ER for 14 hours and he completely ignored her and left her in pain the entire time. She had high blood count was swollen. He dismissed her pain and argued with her claiming she was trying to bully her doctors into giving her pain meds. She was finally admitted to the main hospital and after extensive testing it was determined she has a rare blood count condition linked to leukemia and is now seeing doctors at cancer care. Also I once saw him myself and after he asked me if I was pregnant and I said “no”, he said “how can you be so certain?”. I then replied “I haven’t had sex.”. He then joked that “we’re in a hospital that believes in immaculate conception”. I also overheard him speaking to the nurse about me. It was extra loud and other patients could hear. I was in pain from what was later determined to be a chronic gastrointestinal issue and had also recently got my gallbladder removed. He said “typical. They all want me to be their sugar daddy!” ... I… suggest you ask for a different provider if you get him.

Dr. Romey really helped me & my daughter feel at ease. Going tot he ER is never a fun night but Dr. Romey made it less scary.

Dr. Romey,Is a great Doctor with a very caring bedside manner. He takes the time to listen to your concerns and you don't feel as if he's in a rush to leave the room. He was great with my daughter and asked her questions so many times kids feel left out of their own care. I would recommend this Doctor to anyone.

I thought Chris Romey was awesome. He diagnosed my son quick and it was accurate. I would recommend him to anyone.

Child emergency so I was looking for a quick doctor. I think that the wait time was more a hospital issue than that of a doctor issue. He was with us for only a short period of time (maybe a little too short for our comfort) but we walked out with the problem solved and everything fixed quickly.

He did not listen to us regarding our child's problems. He LAUGHED TWICE when we told him our child was injuring himself.
