Christopher L. Ross, DMD, MS
Dr. Ross was raised here in Clearwater, Florida where his family still lives. He earned his dental degree from the University of Florida in 2000 where he was awarded the Best All-Around Senior Student, and received UF's Presidential Recognition as an Outstanding Senior Student. In addition, Dr. Ross received Ethics Awards from the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society and from the American College of Dentists. Prior to dental school, Dr. Ross earned a BA in Art from Mercer University in 1988 and a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Florida in 1992.
Dr. Ross practiced general dentistry in Pinellas County for 4 years before attending the University of Louisville for his Certificate in Endodontics and also earning a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology. Dr Ross has been with Bay Area Endodontics since completion of his Residency in Endodontics and is Board Eligible for Diplomat status in the American Board of Endodontics.Â
He …has given many presentations on endodontics at national and regional meetings of the American Association of Endodontists. Also he has been published in the International Journal of Endodontics (IntJEndo v42, no3, 3/2009). Dr. Ross has been named as one of Tampa Bay Magazine's Best Dentists, both as a general dentist and as an endodontist. Dr. Ross also donates his time and services to the Homeless Emergency Project, Gulf Coast Dental Outreach Program, Great American Teach-In, and has been involved in Give Kids a Smile program.
Dr. Ross is a Specialist Member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, West Coast Dental Association, and Upper Pinellas County Dental Association.
He has been married for more than 22 years, and is the proud and devoted father of two children. He loves competing in triathlon and running events, and spending time with his family
