Dr. Christopher Spiekerman was born in Tacoma, Washington and was raised in Arizona. He attended the University of Colorado at Boulder and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology in 1994. In 1998 he completed his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences, where he served as the Health Clinic Coordinator. He would later make his way to Jacksonville, Florida for his residency. While at the University of Florida at Jacksonville he was awarded Pediatric ER Resident of the Year.

Dr. Spiekerman enjoys devoting his time to teaching medical students working as a Pediatric Preceptor for Midwestern University- AZCOM, and as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at A.T. Still University- Kirksville. He also serves as a Chairman of Pediatrics for West Valley Hospital.

Since 2001 Dr. Spiekerman has been a part of Desert Valley Pediatrics where he continues to share his love and passion for helping children and their families.

My youngest child just turned 18, sad to say goodbye to Dr. Spiekerman. He is THE best pediatrician in the valley! Great with kids, takes time with the patient AND the parents. Wonderful man, outstanding doctor!

Dr G really knows his stuff and my kids love him. Very caring and takes time to explain the diagnosis, how to treat and what to return for in case they get sicker. Wonderful physician and I would recommend to anyone!

Dr. Spiekerman is the best! He sees all 3 of my boys. I feel very comfortable speaking to him about any concerns. He is very attentive and informative, full of knowledge and up on the latest advances, but also down to earth. I love that he is quick to help and can keep up with my many questions. He remembers personal details and conversations, really making us feel welcomed and cared for. You have to make appts far in advance because he is so popular and fills up fast. But he is worth it and we love him!

My son with asthma & allergies has seen him many times. Not only does he explain what's going on completely, investgate issues, care about the children, but he also cares about the medications $ wie. Most Drs don't give a crap about your $ issues, this one does!!! Plus he told me to bring him in anytime he's having asthma issues if open, I did & he got us back into a room within minutes of walking in the door... which is amazing when every minute counts!

Dr. Spiekerman is the most compassionate and charismatic physican I've ever met. Once he found out my daughter lost her insurance and that I was experiencing finanical hardship he was very understanding and went up and beyond my expectations of a dr to help my daughter with her visits and medications. As a person who has worked in the medial field for 7 years I've never meet such an amazing dr. THANK YOU DR. SPIEKERMAN. YOUR IN THE RIGHT FIELD.

Dr. Spiekerman at Desert Vally Pediatrics is Great! at first you may think he talks a little fast, but he's REALLY THOROUGH and he does EVERYTHING in his power to help! He's a great doctor, by far the most patient and helpful. i would recommend him as first choice.

The most thorough, compassionate doctor I've ever seen. Would highly recommend, especially if you need a doctor who is willing to investigate a complex health issue instead of just treating symptoms.

Dr. Spiekerman seems to specialize in listening to parents. He has helped to investigate and solve some very unusual medical problems that my daughter has.
