Dr. Salerno saved my life when my worsening heart failure reached a critical point. His skill as a surgeon is second to none yet he maintains an approachable personality. He and the rest of the team at St. Vincent work so well together. You can sense the respect the staff has for Dr. Salerno. I would recommend Dr. Salerno to anyone who is dealing with serious heart issues that can be remedied via heart transplantation or a heart assist device. The team of Dr. Salerno and the awesome staff at St. Vincent will do everything in their power to get you back on your feet.

Dr Salerno saved my life. I went in for Heart cath. I had 3 blockages. I ended up with a triple bypass. Dr Salerno literally saved my life.

Dr. Salerno is a wonderful caring professional. When he is with you he is totally focused on your health and mental needs, doesn't rush through your appointment and takes time to explain treatment and health issues.

My surgery took 10 hours. He did 3 bypasses, an aneurism repair and a mechanical valve placement. Absolutely a top notch number one man.

Dr. Salerno is truly the best! He made me feel so comfortable during my consultation appointment. He didn't make me feel rushed and answered all my questions. He was so friendly and very professional. He certainly has my vote! Thanks Dr. Salerno for doing such a great job replacing that old aorta valve for me!
