Dr. Christopher A. Samujh, MD

Dr did my hip revision on 8/8/25 extreme pain at 3 weeks, put me off with muscle relaxants and steroids for another 3 weeks before he suggested a CT scan. I was told to stop PT immediately. And lay flat until my next appointment. On 10/30 he released me to physical therapy and told me that the fracture happened during the surgery.Still in pain . My family encouraged me to seek a second opinion. Another CT scan and the pelvis is broken . I will need a second revision surgery for pelvic discontinuity, which will take another 6 to 8 months to repair the damage from his surgery. He dismissed my questions at three, six and twelve weeks. NO restrictions were given at any time. Not a good experience!!!!!

In my 8 years being chronically ill, because of many ignorant drs, "Dr" Samujh is by far the rudest, most dismissive, ignorant, and degrading so called Dr I've come across. Has zero social skills, manners, professionalism, and most certainly zero compassion. It's funny seeing all the great reviews because I find them very hard to believe after dealing with him. He just stands there and shrugs his shoulders with arrogance, and within 5 minutes of meeting me said he isn't the right Dr for me, and he doesn't think anyone will ever help me, and I'll just have to live like this. One star he doesn't even deserve. He clearly only knows how to stay in a little box with basic issues, because you certainly can't expect him to take any time trying to think outside of this little box and use his actual brain. I can't say I ever immediately hated a Dr I dealt with, but I certainly do him.

He promised to operate within a few weeks. He lied. He told me about 4 days after applying this device than he cannot handle this type of surgery...

His nurse Krystal is absolutely amazing and is about the only good thing I have to say about Scranton Ortho. Dr. Samujh himself was very caring and nice although the appointments seemed rushed. He was great with following up on me though. Things took a turn for the worse when he got the MRI results back and referred me to his partner, Dr. Siebecker who ended up just making my foot worse than it was before I came. I will never go back to this practice because of my experience with Siebecker.
