Dr. Christopher Marsh Sangster

Unfortunately, my experience with Dr. Sangster was dismissive and disappointing. I came in with clear, worsening symptoms and advocated for a few additional lab tests that are well within evidence-based guidelines. Instead of being met with curiosity or care, I was met with condescension—including being asked if I got my concerns “from TikTok.” Despite my efforts to communicate clearly and respectfully, I was repeatedly brushed off and told to wait up to 6 months to “observe.” At no point did he inquire deeper or offer to refer me to someone more aligned with my concerns. While I typically don’t judge providers based on training, I was surprised to learn Dr. Sangster attended medical school in Barbados. Unfortunately, that context aligns with the level of care I received. If you’re someone with complex or layered symptoms, or someone who values being taken seriously, I recommend finding a different physician within the Kaiser network.
