Dr. Christopher Anthony Santora, MD

I am not a patient of Dr. Christopher A. Santora, I am writing for my mother in law, she is a 78 years old. At first doctor seams to have some impression, but not for a long. He has a problem clear understanding of the medical condition, its causes, and potential treatment options. Because of his poor decisions from healthy and active woman of her age, she ended up almost physically inactive with severe liver damage. No X-ray or MRI were ordered. She was treated by over the counter pain relief with severe constant pain for months.

The best G.P. in South Florida. Dr. Santora knows his stuff. And I'm very picky about my health care.

Dr. Santura saved my husband's life! While giving my husband a thorough examination, he found blood in his stool, which I was told by my husband's encologist is often missed by doctors. My husband's diagnosis was a stage 2 colon cancer. He had absolutely no symptoms. If it wasn't for Dr. Santura's findings, my husband's prognosis would have been much worse. Dr. Santura is thorough and does not sugar coat what needs to be said and done. I like that!

Impossible to get ahold of, never return the messages you leave. This go's on for weeks. Front office staff don't give a #%^$^.

because of several problems with this doctor and his office staff, particularly the nurses on the telephone, who seem to want to make their own diagnosis and prescriptions instead of following Dr.'s orders. Also Santora seems to care more about typing into his laptop rather than listen to patient and their concerns. Also seems to be too quick to dump patient off onto specialists, instead of trying to do some work himself. One piece of advice...get rid of the nurses that are answering the phones to handle prescription refills. They are arrogant and argumentative with patients. Majorly! And I know for a fact I'm NOT the only patient this has been done to. Believe it or not, your patients DO talk to one another!

Seems that the doctor was in a rush to get through. Did not feel like it was a detailed assesment. I requested specific tests that I thought my primary doctor would without question. But he did not.

Though the nursing and office staff is wonderful, this doctor needs to go back to school. I was insulted multiple times by what I hope is his pure ignorance. Left undiagnosed the two times I visited him. Will never go back. Stay away from this one.

Doctor Santora is the best physician I have had in 15 yrs. He has been my doctor for 3 yrs. I have had 4 doctors before him. He has treated my complicated medical problems expertly and I feel he listens very closely to my problems.
