Dr. Christopher Taylor Shaw, MD

My first visit was with his nurse practitioner, who after starting my consultation, was pulled out of the exam room by Dr. Shaw where he spoke to her right outside my door for over 10 minutes about his upcoming procedures with his patients, using their names and how he felt about them. I heard every word, and wrote down their names, since Dr. Shaw was breaking HIPPA laws! he didn't seem to care and continued his conversation with her, which was totally inappropriate and unprofessional. the next appointment I had was to be with Dr. Shaw. when I arrived at the office the office manager told me that he had been called away an hour before to do a procedure and didn't know when he would be back. I asked her WHY no one called me, and her answer was it was NOT THE OFFICE POLICY to do that!!!!! Since I am also a health professional and had to reschedule my patients to come to this appointment I told her that I thought it was very unprofessional to do that and have people come all the… way to the office instead of a courtesy phone call. Her reply to me was "HE IS THE ONLY GAME IN TOWN". THE ARROGANCE OF THIS OFFICE AND DOCTOR AMAZES ME. IF YOU WANT A PROFESSIONAL, YOU DON'T WANT TO GO TO THIS DOCTOR.!!

I love Dr. Shaw, He is great with my condition and treats me so kind. He answers all my questions and I have a lot. Spends just the right amount of time with me.

Would recommend him !!!

I've been a patient for several years and have the highest respect for Dr. Shaw. He's never in a hurry, listens closely to my concerns and always takes time to answer all my questions in detail. He's extremely intelligent, has a great personality and always makes me feel like I'm his only patient.

Not a fan of Dr Shaw or his nurse. Not focused, feedback very slow, ordered unnecessary tests not paid by medicare! Test results delivered 15 days after the fact.

Dr. Shaw has been my doctor for the treatment of crohn's disease for the last 22 years. He listens. He is willing to try new/different treatments if the current regimen is not working. A very good doctor!
