went for a second opinion before getting surgery. because i had been to another doctor, he refuse examination. just said there was nothing he good do for me and left the room. very arrogant.

I suffered for years with Neck pain, because I was very skeptical about having spine surgery to correct the issue. However, after meeting with Dr. Silveri, he took the time to explain, in detail, the procedure and recovery and really made me more comfortable with proceeding. The surgery went well and the recovery was exactly how Dr. Silveri indicated and I was very happy that I had the surgery. I am pain free and very happy. Thank you to Dr. Silveri and his team.

I have been suffering with back pain for years, and after Dr. Silveri diagnosed me and said I needed surgery, I was a nervous wreck. He saw me several times to outline what would happen and helped reassure me and calm my nerves. Everyone in the office, from the front desk, to Trisha (surgical coordinator) have gone above and beyond to show compassion. I feel comfortable scheduling my surgery and know without a doubt I will be in good hands for my recovery. I would highly recommend this office, and Dr. Silveri to anyone.

I am extremely pleased and happy with my experience with both Dr. Siliveri and also the Fair Oaks Orthopaedic Associates Practice. The practice, itself, is one of the best I have ever used. The staff personnel are highly professional, courteous, and always responsive. Tricia Knox, Dr. Silveri’s business manager, is extremely knowledgeable and provided a lot of information that greatly helped me prepare for and get through all the “pre-surgical” and “post-surgical” aspects. Tricia is a consummate professional who knows her job extremely well and goes the extra mile to always be helpful and informative. My highly successful spinal surgery was performed by Dr. Christopher Silveri who is probably one of the most highly skilled “leading edge”nuerological spinal surgeons in the DC/VA/MD area. Additionally, because of his very specialized experience in the latest advancements in spinal technologies, he used a “state of the art” alternate approach that avoided painful bone grafts that would… have prolonged “post-op” discomfort and recovery. When they woke me up after surgery; although I felt “surgical related pain”, all my searing nerve pain was gone. In addition through his vast network of other specialized surgeons, he tapped the skills/experience of Dr. Robert Gorsen, another highly accomplished neurological surgeon, who assisted the surgery with some additional special focus in remediating a potential risk to my spinal cord. They both did a great job—and I could not be happier! Although still recovering, I now have a pain free life and am already starting to be very active already again. If ever the need arises again in the future, I will use both these surgeons again.

In addition to his failure to diagnose me with sciatic notch pain (performis muscle) which was diagnosed accurately by another doctor, this doctor has a terrible bed manner and bad attitude. This is in addition to waiting for an hour and a half to see him even though I came 15 minutes before the appt. Terrible. Terrible. Waste of time and money

Not only would I recommend Dr. Silveri, I have done so. His skill, friendly manner, the expertise of his staff, all contributed to a positive outcome for me. I feel that I have my life back, and never dreamed that after having four vertebrae fused that I would be pain free and have the flexibility that I had before. Thanks, Dr. Silveri

I had lower lumbar surgery with fusion in 2015 and had disks replaced in my neck in 2018. I was in excruciating pain prior to each surgery, I am now PAIN FREE!
