Dr. Christopher Perry Smith, MD

This was a few years ago and I wonder if he has gotten any better since. On the first appointment, this doctor entered the room, and without so much as making eye contact with me, informed me of my diagnosis. I had to argue to get an actual examination, during which he eventually relented that I "probably did" have the issues I suspected I had (well, duh). I was told to get a diagnostic scan and come back. My next appointment, he comes in without saying two words to me and just started getting tools ready to do a procedure! I had to pry in order to figure out what was going on! I did NOT expect to have any sort of procedure done that day, and had not planned for it, although I knew it may eventually need to be done. It went worse than expected with a lot of pain, and anticipating pain for the rest of the day, I asked if he was going to prescribe me anything for it. His response, "Go home and take some Advil." That night after suffering horribly all day long my neck swelled up like… a balloon and I ended up in the hospital after being unable to get a hold of his on call people. They pumped me full of steroids but I still ended up missing 1.5 days of work. I came back in for what would be the last appointment ever with him. He was actually pretty nice and apologetic and didn't charge me for that appointment because he seemed to be walking on eggshells. I would never, ever, EVER go back to him after what I went through.

Bad bedside manner, uncaring, arrogant, gave me my test results and I asked what it was and told me to ask the referring doctor and look it up on the internet. Would not take my dog to see this doctor!

The doctor acted very strangely in the exam room. He made me uncomfortable.

Not the greatest bed-side manner. Comes off as arrogant.

Excellent, professional physician. Great diagnosis and treatment. Highly recommend this physician.
