Dr. Christopher A Spohr

Dr. Christopher Spohr grew up in northwest Indiana and attended Crown Point High School.  After graduating Cum Laude from Butler University in Indianapolis with a Bachelor of Science in chemistry, Dr. Spohr attended Indiana University School of Dentistry and graduated with highest distinction.  Dr. Spohr was also elected into membership of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, which includes only the top 12% of graduating dentists in the nation.  After practicing for a short period of time on the south side of Indianapolis, Dr. Spohr was asked to teach students clinical dentistry at Indiana University School of Dentistry due to his distinguished clinical skills and chairside manner.  He began teaching in 2007, and still currently does so on Fridays.
Dr. Spohr was born with a type of cleft palate that required surgery when he was an infant.  As a child, he would often wake his parents up at night with the sound of him grinding his teeth.  This grinding wore several of the teeth thin, making …them frequently sensitive.  As a result, he has had root canals, several crowns, and a dental implant done in addition to orthodontic treatment and gum surgery that were necessary.  The decision to practice dentistry was a personal one for Dr. Spohr, and he can sympathize from experience with many of his patients and their dental concerns. 
Dr. Spohr enjoys playing the acoustic guitar, traveling, and attending Colts and Butler basketball games.  He and his wife, Sara, live in Carmel along with their cat and dog, Michi and Sammi.  The opportunity to practice among family and friends in a close-knit community led Dr. Spohr to open his practice in Noblesville.
