Dr. Christopher Philip Tallo, MD

I have known Dr. Tallo for over 20 years. Not only is he supremely qualified to be a Pediatrician, he excels at caring for kids of all ages, healthy and challenged. He managed the complex medical needs of my oldest Child with care and compassion. Today he cares for my grandchildren. He is one of the few doctors who cares enough to take his own call 24/7. He has structured his practice to give the best and most complete care to all his patients. If you want a doctor who truly cares about the quality of care he gives children, then Dr. Tallo is who you want. I have a unique point of view, I worked for him, I took my kids to him for care, I take my grandchildren to see him. I have seen him with 100's of children over the years and watched his compassion and expertise with each of them. You will not find a better pediatrician, for your child.

I am a pediatric nurse as well as an OB nurse. I had dozens of experiences with pediatricians in the Fort Wayne area. I see many pediatricians during my typical work day and Dr. Tallo is one of the most knowledgeable, compassionate doctors I have had the pleasure of meeting. Besides my professional experience, he is my pediatrician. I have 5 children. One of my children has Down syndrome and another was on a lung bypass machine at birth. Dr. Tallo has always been so compassionate and has given wonderful care to all my children. He has a special calling for children with disabilities and knows a lot about each of their special situations. It was hard finding a doctor when my son with Down syndrome was born because not many actually knew a lot about the syndrome. Dr. Tallo knows each child is different and has potential and should not be compared to each other. He takes each child’s issues and works from there. As a nurse I seem to worry more and Dr. Tallo has a way of comforting me as a… parent and calming the nurse in me. I am so thankful we were able to find him. I feel lucky to have him for my children’s pediatrician. I always recommend him as a pediatrician to the patients I take care of.

I have four children. Two with special needs. We have been seeing Dr Tallo for 13 years. He is amazing! His entire staff is amazing! When my son was born with Down syndrome, I was happy to know he was in Dr Tallo’s hands. Dr Tallo is educated on what he needs, tests, services, and therapies. Dr Tallo has always fought for what is right, for children and for families. He believes in the education of parents and does whatever he can to support us! He loves and cares about his patients and their families. There has been several times we have needed him after hours, and he is always there for us. There is no Dr out there like Dr Tallo and his office staff!

We love going to Dr. Tallo. Have been going to his office for 8 years now and couldn't be happier. Anytime I have a concern no matter what time it is, he and his office is always there for me. He has always loved all 3 of my kids as if they were his own. My son has been very sick the last 6 months and he has never once pushed me to the side as if nothing was wrong. He listens to everything I say and breaks everything down so I can understand what he is saying. I trust him with everything he does and can ever do for my kids. He has become family to us and nothing will ever change that.

I have been going to Dr. Tallo for 12 years. He is a very kind hearted Doctor and knows his stuff. The memory I have is my son who was 5 years old at the time ran into our railing at our house we ran from our house into the office and was seen immediately. He helped my son. So much. I have three sons and they get the best care from Dr. Tallo and his staff.

My son started seeing Dr.Tallo about 5 years ago. I was nervous going to see him initially because my son does not do well with change. My fears were very quickly put to rest! Dr.Tallo walked into the room for that initial visit and walked right by me. He looked at my son and started talking to him and getting to know him. Very quickly, my son started chatting with him and told him all about himself. At the very end of the visit, Dr.Tallo turned to me and then asked me if I had any questions which needlessly I did. He spent time listening to my concerns and over the years had been an amazing pediatrician for my son. He always takes the time to talk with him and checks in with him how things are going like school, scouts and sports. He has a fantastic manner with him and really listens. He also takes time with parents and explains diagnosis, medications very well. As Dr.Tallo said to me when we started going to him, my son is his patient, not me! My son feels so comfortable with him… and will ask any questions he needs to. The office staff, nurses and nurse practitioner (Brittany) are also wonderful. They are friendly and very helpful. If I need to call them about something, they respond as quickly as possible and answer any questions or concerns I may have. My son always stops to say hi to the 2 therapy dogs that live in the office - they are so gentle and put so many children at ease. I highly recommend Dr.Tallo's practice to anyone looking for an excellent pediatrician for their child.

Our family has been a patient of Dr. Tallo's and his team for about 5 years. He continues to impress us by always being one step ahead of any concerns that we may have about our children's health and developmental needs. We opted to go with a solo physician practice because we didn't want to be just another name in a large group. He's a straight shooter, but you can see how much he cares about the level of patient care he provides and cares about how we (parents) feel about the treatment plan, vaccination schedule, etc.

I switched pediatricians and now have been with Dr. Tallo for 5 years. From our very first visit he has always been courteous, thorough, and professional. He is great with all 3 of my kids. I have a son who needs more medical attention than most. Dr. Tallo follows through with all lab work and check ups with specialists regarding my son's diagnosis. His office staff is efficient and friendly. I have always been able to get a sick child in promptly! If you are looking for a pediatrician who really cares about your child and their health I would recommend Dr. Tallo!

Dr. Tallo has been our pediatrician of choice for our four children for over eight years. His staff is attentive, kind and caring. Dr. Tallo goes above and beyond for all of his patients and their families and treats the whole child; not just the physical symptoms. Dr. Tallo and his nurse practioner, Brittney take time with each patient, and treats each patient with the highest level of respect and genuine care. I highly recommend Dr. Tallo and his support staff for all of your child's needs from birth thru late teens.

I have been with the Children's Health Center for over 11 years. Dr. Tallo is loved by not only my children but also by myself. He takes the time to really discuss my children's health care needs with me. Dr. Tallo looks at the well being of the child and takes the time to get to know them and their needs.
