Dr. Christopher Tappan, MD

Dr. Tappan is an incredibly caring and knowledgable pediatrician. My son has multiple specialist required in his healthcare and Dr. Tappan's knowledge and respect for my input as a parent have led to the discovery and treatment of multiple diagnosis and proper care with specialists. Dr. Tappan is straight forward and professional in all aspects of treatment. The practice also has after hours and weekend appointments available in other locations. This is another asset due to the fact that my child's records are accessible to the after hours doctor(s). In all, Dr. Tappan, the other pediatricians, nurses, Debbie (awesome and caring referral specialist) and the additional staff have all played a part in ensuring a positive experience for my son and for myself. We recently moved and haven't had an experience with the pediatric doctors that comes close to the care my son received under Dr. Tappan's care.

Dr. Tappan is very caring and thorough. He is confident and very experienced. We frequently see him when others can't figure out the problem. He has taken care of our children for years and always puts their best interest first...even if we may not agree. We wouldn't go anywhere else.

I find this doctor to be smug and judgmental. He is very knowledgeable but tends to make you feel as if you are not doing the right thing for your child if you don't take his recommendation. He seems to advocate for children but allows the fact that he is the doctor to cloud his judgement on whether or not he recognizes good confident parenting. As a parent we are the advocates for our children and only need him for what he is intended a pediatrician not a parent. He also charges for unnecessary tests. Some parents may find that reassuring but with the high cost of healthcare rising, common sense should prevail so as to keep the cost under control and somewhat manageable. BUYER BEWARE!

Dr. Tappan is the only doctor my daughter has seen. She was one of his first babies when he started his practice and I wouldn't take her anywhere else even if my insurance changed. My granddaughter is now a patient of his.

Highly recommend Dr. Tappan, my son is well because of this man.

Dr. Tappan is a wonderful and caring physician. He has been the MD to both of my girls for many years. The only reason I had to leave his practice was because I moved to Denver. I continue to recommend his practice to all of my friends and family back home in Florida.
