Dr. Christopher Thiagarajah, MD

Trust is the word that comes to mind in my experience with Dr. Thiagarajah and PAOS. I was involved in a serious accident and my first encounter with Dr. T was wise advise to let the tincture of time heal my wounds to see if surgery was necessary. When I did return to have surgery, both Dr. T and his staff were outstanding in correcting my eye problem. I am so very thankful to have found Dr. T and to have had my surgery in his capable hands. He is truly an artist in his field, and most of all a good and honest man. I am so happy with the results and highly recommend Dr. Thiagarajah.

He is the best in my opinion and his results proved it to me

Dr. T is one of the most compassionate physicians that I have ever met. He is honest, personable, caring, and amazingly skilled. Problem #1 : I had an inner/lower eyelid tumor that was thought to be cancerous. I researched for a surgeon that could reconstruct my tear duct if my eye tumor was more involved and cancerous. Found my guy...Dr. Thiagarajah. Tumor removal took about 2 minutes total with minimal discomfort in office! Luckily, it also was benign so I didn’t need invasive surgery. Problem #2: The day before meeting Dr. T I was in the ER for partial paralysis of my face after an accidental medication error during a medical training that I had attended. Dr. T intervened even though this wasn’t his problem! He called every ER, hospital, pharmacy, colleagues, and CDC to get information on how to prevent the negative effects and paralysis associated with this medication error. Eventually, Dr. T came up with a plan based on his in depth research and he did indeed stop the… paralytic effects associated with this medication. Also, preventing imminent hospitalization that would have happened if he had not intervened. Who does this? Dr. Thiagarajah. My greatest gratitude to Dr. Thiagarajah for helping me in my time of need.

saves my eye

I originally went to Dr. Thiagarajah to have a small cyst by my right eye removed. He did a great job removing this cyst on my first visit. I also had the opportunity to talk to him about my difficulty tracking while reading. He took my concern seriously and ordered an MRI of my brain and my eyes. The MRI showed that I have a small pituitary tumor. Dr. Thiagarajah referred me to a wonderful neurosurgeon at Georgetown University Hospital. Dr. Thiagarajah is helpful, thorough, funny, and a great person too! I highly recommend him!

I love this doctor! He is an amazing surgeon with a great personality. You can tell he truly cares about his patients and loves what he does. I had to have surgery to place a stent to open a blocked tear duct. The surgery went well and I was able get in touch with someone in the office when I needed something.

His empathy and concern for his patients is only surpassed by his surgical and medical skills .
