Dr. Christopher Gabriel Tirce, MD

I have a complicated medical history, and my blood sugar was low the morning of surgery. Dr. Tirce put the IV in me himself and started giving me some IV sugar so I didn't bottom out AND could still get my surgery.

First time

I'm a challenge. Conscientious. Spent time. Good good.

I've had multiple surgeries and always end up yacking afterwards. I don't know what he did different, but I woke up and didn't need to grab a barf bag for the first time in my life. Surgery's doesn't have to suck.

I've had more surgeries than I'd like, seen lots of these guys. He's good!

I was very nervous about having anesthesia and Dr. Tirce spent time explaining everything to me before the surgery. I just needed someone to listen, and the surgery went great. I think I was so anxious I even had my husband a little on edge. But Dr. Tirce went out and spoke with him after the surgery too. A little goes a long way. Great experience!

I felt I was in very good hands with Dr. Tirce. He explained what was going to happen, he had a good understanding of my worries and medical history. I felt I was in very good hands during surgery and appreciated not having to worry.

My mother recently required a major surgery and Dr. Tirce was her anesthesiologist. We had numerous concerns as to how she would handle the anesthesia, the stress from the surgery and who would be able to handle her very long medical history and past icky experiences. Dr. Tirce was a wealth of knowledge and insight. He managed to assuage my worry, give us the information that led to keeping me calm and giving my mother the best experience in an otherwise horrible situation. His follow up care was equally impressive especially given that most anesthesiologist’s don’t follow up. Best part of the time at the hospital.
