Dr. Christopher Andre Toupin JR., MD

Three years ago I changed health plans and had to find a new primary physician. After researching reviews, I selected Dr. Christopher Toupin. I've had many primary docs in my past, and Dr. Toupin ranks as the best. With a caring and compassionate demeanor, he thoroughly listens to and addresses my every concern, with the utmost professionalism. He truly gives you a feeling that you're in great hands.

The level of unprofessionalism and disregard to patient safety is unbelievable.  At 430p the day before my 95 yr old grandmother's appointment with Dr Toupin and the Sun City location the front desk calls to say "sorry we messed up and scheduled you for a 15 minute not a 30 minute appointment & the doctor won't wait so your appointment has been bumped". Nevermind its their mistake, nevermind its less than 24 hours notice, nevermind she waited two weeks for this appointment..... just too bad for the 95 year old patient.  Think they could offer the same appointment the next day oh no of course not.  Think they could offer the same appointment at another location the next day, nope not that either.   The completely incompetent front desk seriously thought a Tele-Doc appointment with a nurse practitioner was good enough.... and just how are you going to take my grandmother's blood pressure over the phone, how are you going to run blood test over the phone,  check her cholesterol over the… phone?  The level of disregard for a patient's health was unbelievable.  Your front desk needs to be re-trained on how to take responsibility for their mistakes Dr Toupin!

I have been a patient of Dr. Toupin for about 5 years. I am 68 years old and now have the standard old man issues, but generally pretty healthy. Dr. Toupin is kind, patient, caring and a great manager of my overall health planning. His referrals have become my regular specialists. I wish there were yen stars to award, he is worth it.

Dr Toupin has rude front and back office staff except for the SunCity office. I waited and waited after checking in at the front desk in Murrieta. The front desk never told me that the doctor was running behind. My appt. was early and he should have been on time. Money seems to be first, then patient care. If you like rude staff and a Dr. that runs behind he's your man.
