Dr. Christopher Daniel Tumpkin, MD

Dr. Tumpkin is a great doctor got answers for my daughters skin condition after just one visit! Very pleased with his treatment plan and care!

My family physician referred me to Dr. Chistopher Tumpkin because he felt that he was experienced and knowledgeable enough to handle my odd allergy case. I entered Dr. Tumpkin's office very hopeful that he would be the one doctor who might have some answers. From observation, as soon as I walked in, the staff seemed very concerned about pleasing him, to the point that they were scared. My nurse was scared to continue talking to me in fear that she would talk to long and keep him waiting. As my appointment went on, Dr. Tumpkin seemed very frustrated if I would try to explain myself and my situation at any point. I also was not impressed at all by Dr. Tumpkin's willingness to question and put down other doctors, along with their experience, opinions, and knowledge. He did this multiple times throughout the appointment. By the end of the appointment, Dr. Tumpkin concluded that I had never had a severe allergic reaction to anything like I had been told by several doctors before and I had… nothing to fear. He had also mentioned that it's 'not cool' for other doctors to write me and my symptoms off, yet it seemed that the only thing he did the entire appointment was minimized my list of symptoms until it seemed like a worthless problem he didn't have time to treat. I left Dr. Tumpkin's office very upset and confused because of how I was treated. Severely disappointed and do not suggest him.

Treated the cause of numerous infections each year and now I only have 1 a year. This is a big improvement.

Dr Tumpkin & staff provide excellent care.

I am happy with my visit with this Dr Tumpkin. He spends time answering my questions and explaining things to me. The office was very clean and the staff was great.

I agree with the other reviews, except the one that seems likely to have been written by the physician himself or perhaps by a wife or mother.

Would avoid.

Not sure what doctor "anonymous" saw but could not have been this Dr. Tumpkin! We found him to be outstanding in his field, thorough, and easy to relate to. Gave options for treatment, helped us to control our allergies. Will return to him without question and recommend him highly to others.

The doctor comes off as uninformed and uncaring. Appointments are short and a rush. He hurries you in and out. He doesn't really answer questions but just short of smiles and shrugs. Trust me, even for something relatively minor like allergies, you absolutely need a good doctor. Bad doctors, I know from experience, can cause irreversible harm even for relatively simple problems. This is an excellent site. Before going to any doctor, I would recommend researching them as much as possible. Obviously this is one you'll want to avoid.
