Dr. Christopher David Tykocki, DO

I have went to Dr. Tykocki for the past 15 years. I have always appreciated his ability to make me feel comfortable and bring humor to such a usually uncomfortable thing. He is blunt while being funny, but is caring and serious when the necessity arises. Dr. Tykocki always goes out of his way to answer my questions. I would NEVER switch to another doctor. The office staff is wonderful and the wait time is short. It's actually amazing that he is almost always on time when you consider the deliveries and emergencies he gets called for. He helped me through 3 miscarriages, fertility issues, endometriosis, prenatal for my 3 babies... delivering two of them himself. He removed my tubes once I was done having children and continually screens me for cancer (hereditary). I am 33, never leave online reviews, and could continue to rant over him all day. You would be lucky to have him as a doctor!

I feel comfortable talking and asking questions to him. He is a wonderful person and Doctor. He also was the only Doctor that diagnosed my Hashimotos.

I have been going to Doctor Tycocki for 5 years. Initially I was very pleased with him. He seems open minded and gives you the feelings your in good hands. Recently my insurance was switched and there were billing issues. The receptionist....I believe her name was Cheryl(or Sharon, a new gal I've never talked too), was beyond rude. After setting up payment plans, I had a serious medical emergency come up and was not able to be seen due to my $150 balance. Forced to go to another OBGYN with no history of my lengthy medical records, I found out devastating news. Apon discussing the next steps of my medical treatment, I quickly became aware of how much important information/education was not provided to me by Dr.Tycocki. It deeply saddens me we put absolute trust in doctors, and yet they allow their egos to get in the way.

Grand Blanc views Dr. Typokin as one if the best. The day of my appointment I was met by very pleasant staff and his wife who had a sour look on her face. It was somewhat embarrassing to have his wife step up and declare herself his wife. Trust me when I say that Dr. Typo ki is not my type. Even after being very kind and saying wonderful things about her husband she had a dismissive attitude and treated the staff terrible. After expressing my concern to the doctor he said just ignore it, she has a difficult time with a lot of his patients. It is a shame but I will find another OB.

Doctor Tycocki is the absolute best doctor I've ever had. I only wish I could go to him for everything. He speaks to you like a human being who happens to be a doctor. I was nervous to go to a male obgyn, buthe shows more compassion than any ffemale doc I've ever seen. If I'm nervous my mood immediately changes when he walks in the room. He is extremely busy, constantly being pulled in every which direction, but never let's that cut into the time he takes with you and he never let's his stress show or affect his patients. He knows his stuff and takes the time to explain it to you. Also, he makes the embarrassing stuff seem commonplace and even funny. I also love the office staff, they even told me who his personal pediatrian is for my kids. His office is very clean, his son cleans the office and does a great job. Feels like family, not just a doctor.

Doctor Tykocki is overall the best OBGYN around!

He is friendly, professional and I am relaxed about discussing personal health matters which he takes care of.
