Dr. Christopher Lowell Vinsant

This doctor should not be allowed to see patients; apparently he has a record of being a very narrow-minded judgmental doctor who doesn't hesitate to tell patients what HE thinks is going on with them; doesn't have a physciatric degree and certainly needs to be relieved of position. So sorry Tennova has not seen this yet, but we have filed a formal complaint. Who knows what will come of it.

Dr. Vinsant was extremely abusive and treated me like a druggie and dismissed my symptoms while berating me.

if you suffer from multiple pain issues and wish to be taken seriously...don't bother. This Dr. and other physicians at this practice are all about injections and limited medication. Very comfortable injecting any where it hurts and rejecting honest, documented pain complaints. If your condition is complex they will just "stab in the dark".

I had gone to this dr. He is in this area of practice for the referrals, the money and kivkbacks. He'll treat you for a short time and find any reason to release you. The bottom line, he is in the wrong area of medicine. Please check other, caring dr's. He isn't qualified. It's the money.

After he sees you he sends you to his nurse practitioner and they bill a through several different places hospitals and anesthesiology and for the physician you did not see. If you have to have a procedure and choose to have it done by another group or doctor they will release you as a patient.

I went in for a facet injection and this was the very first time I had seen this particular doctor. I had been w/Tennova for 4years. I had just had some very extensive dental surgery so I was in some more than usual pain and over took my meds but was also honest about it. His response to me was "I'm not going to risk my license for people like YOU." People like me. He doesn't ever know people like me or the real pain I was experiencing and never even inquired about it. He fired me without even trying to hear my side and just treated me like a drug seeker of which I am not. My counts have always been right on until the dental surgery but he didn't care. Guess I was supposed to just suck it up. I would consider someone else if you are in serious pain b/c this guy doesn't give a rats butt about about you.

Some difficulty getting an appointment through my family doctor but the care was good. My pain is under better control and I am back to work. Lots of experience with back and neck problems.
